Starting December 31, 2009 - Ending April 3, 2010 Expired

As per the IMAAM bylaws, the Annual General Assembly--AGA (a.k.a Musyawarah Tahunan/MUSTA) shall be conducted in the month of January.  In addition, the three incumbent Board of Trustee (BoT), namely Br. Oscar Zaky, Br. Arif Mustofa, Br. Al Asikin, will be expired. So elections to pick three new BoT by the membership will be necessary.

In order to be in line with the bylaws, the AGA/MUSTA will be set up and conducted by an AGA Committee, which will be

working independently. Any active IMAAM members are eligible to be in-charge of the two committees mentioned above. Trustees, candidate of Trustees, and Officers of IMAAM are not eligible to be the AGA Committee.

The AGA Committee main functions are:
- To organize the AGA/MUSTA, including selecting the venue, from preparation until the event is over;
- To run and guide AGA/MUSTA sessions to ensure that it is conducted properly.

So, for those who are eligible and interested to be the AGA Committee, please let us know.

In addition to the AGA Committee, the bylaws also requires us to appoint a Financial Review Committee whose main function is to review IMAAM financial reports throughout the 2009 year.

All IMAAM members are encouraged to participate in this crucial event. The BoT and EC are only taking amanah from the members. It is indeed, the members who are the one who decide and direct how IMAAM should be run. Each member of IMAAM is important to the well being of the whole organization. We need you at this important meeting to not only listen to the BOT tell of the past years accomplishments, but what you wish/expect from your organization. And, in order to make the Musta even more tempting, we will conduct at least two Pra-Musta or Townhall meetings organized by the BoT. Announcements of the Townhall meetings will be provided later.

May Allah bless our efforts and make our intentions purely for His sake.

Wassalaamu'alaikum wr wb.
IMAAM Board of Trustee
